It’s one thing to shoot a wedding. It’s a whole different PLANET to shoot for another artist, let alone someone as amazing as Becca Borrelli. I got to know Becca’s work over 2 years ago when I was lucky enough to have won her Austin Coloring Book in a meetup.
When Becca reached out to me to shoot her wedding celebration at her art studio in East Austin, it was a no brainer. Upon arriving at Lemon House, Becca welcomed me with open arms. We chatted in the sunlight before I realized I was there to take photographs!! Her and Jason are a perfect pair. As Becca described to me, “Jason and I have completely different brains… but when we put them together, it is absolutely magic”.
“Most special was having Ailin capture this day. Y’all in Austin know Lemon House. It isn’t your traditional venue. Lemon is scrappy. But Ailin had zero qualms about our hands-off approach. She came. She shot. She danced with guests. And she sent us batches of candid images that made me fall in love with my friends all over again.”
