Hellooooo Dallas! It’s been so nice to be able to get outside of my Austin bubble and explore new places! I’ve been visiting Dallas more frequently the last few years since one of my best friends moved there. It gives me an excuse to go see her, but also check out the city! And let me say… Dallas is cool. The city itself is so beautiful with lots of different bubbles of beauty. So when Diane and Dustin invited me to come shoot their engagement photos on their turf up in Dallas, it was a no-brainer YES.
We got to explore two different areas: Highland Park’s Lakeside Park and the infamous White Rock Lake Park, all within 10 minutes from each other. It was an early wake-up call with a start time of 7 in the morning, but you’ve got to do what you can when it’s over 100 degrees by 9 o’clock. That’s summer in Texas for you.
Highland Park neighborhood was beautiful with rich greens, while White Rock Lake was the perfect spot for more casual images. Duke and Nestle also got to join in the fun! This photoshoot was such a great reason to make up a trip to Dallas (if you’re in Dallas – I don’t charge travel fees! Let’s hang!). Thanks again, Diane and Dustin! Can’t wait for the wedding next year in February.
Enjoy the photos.
