Can you believe it is already July? I graduated almost two months ago, and so many big things have happened: I started working full-time, I moved into a new place, I had wisdom teeth surgery, and I am learning how to “adult” (or so they call it). It’s been a weird transition time, and I’ve definitely put photography on the backend.
To make up for that, I am starting a new project: soul sessions. These shoots are both test shoots and for me to make sure I never stop shooting, even in the chaos of life. While I love doing client work, and am always looking for it, these sessions allow me to play more and improve my craft for future shoots. Right now, my goal is to do at least 1 soul session per week. This can be in the mode of model test shoots, self portraits, etc.
This first soul session was last Wednesday with Sanetra. Sanetra and I connected on Instagram a few weeks ago, and have been talking about working together for awhile. I am so glad we finally did! Sanetra is easy to work with, so fun, and I made a new friend along the way. Thanks for playing with me, Sanetra! Can’t wait to work with you more! Part 2 of this shoot is coming later this week; there were too many good ones to pick through!

I’m trying to be a #GIRLBOSS and increase my wedding clients and portrait sessions. If you are looking for one, please contact me and let’s talk more!
