I don’t think that’s necessarily true – I was able to do lots of creative things in my classes. However, what I’ve realized it that it consumes you. For me especially, I’m natural hard worker and throw my all into everything I do. For eighteen years of my life, that was my studies.
Now that I’ve graduated, however, I wake up, go to work, and then have block of time after 5pm that I can actually choose what I want to do – no homework to go back to (which I spent way too much time on, being the overachiever I am). Some days it’s happy hour, other days it’s a workout. In this case, you’re looking at the product of my time and effort. This is what I’ve been throwing myself into and, by gosh, am I loving it. Every time I finish a shoot, I am just reminded that this is my passion and it makes me feel alive. I hope you, whoever is reading this, feel the same way about something.
Okay, I’m done with my rant. Alex and I took some quick photos the other day, just as the moon rose. Enjoy.
