A week before Thanksgiving, I got an inquiry in my inbox. “Hi Ailin – we’re getting married next week. We know it’s last minute, but would you be free the day after Thanksgiving?”. At this point, I was NOT taking on anymore clients. I had multiple weddings to edit, plus other sessions in my backlog.
However, Justine and I hopped on the phone later that day, and her kindness was bleeding through the voice waves. I could not say no. And I’m so glad I didn’t.
The ceremony was short. Vows were exchanged, the judge offered advice to the about-to-be-newly-weds. And that was that – by the state of Texas, Justice and Juctuce were now official!
J + J did it!! And it was the best: me, the judge, Justine, and Juctuce. And no better way to celebrate than hopping in the LIMO
After the “Holy shit we’re married” had settled in, we moved on over to the inside of the State Capitol to get some cool, unique shots. This was outside of my usual spots but I absolutely loved pushing my creativity for such an open-minded couple.
