Wow, this downtown engagement shoot was fun! Karli and I met at St. Edward’s University (go Toppers!) our freshman year of college via mutual friends. Back then, she had mentioned she has a boyfriend back home in El Paso, who played baseball. She showed me a photo of them – they were adorable.
Fast forward 7 years later, 10 years since they became a couple, the two are tying the knot! Karli had warned me that she and Orlando were “so awkward” and never took professional photos, so I would have to be prepared. Let’s just say they VERY much underestimated themselves. We spent an hour exploring downtown Austin together – from the Seaholm Power Plant to Second Street District to Auditorium Shores for sunset.
I can’t wait to visit EP next year and celebrate with you two! Enjoy x
“Rachael is amazing. She shot our engagement photos on a Sunday evening and despite the Texas heat, she made us feel so relaxed and at ease. We can be pretty awkward in front of a camera and she made us feel confident the entire time! We hit all the spots we wanted to in one hour, she is super efficient. After we parted ways I remembered one shot I really wanted and she met back up with us RIGHT THEN to get it done! About an hour after we wrapped she already had a few breathtaking shots to share! So so impressed and cannot say enough amazing things about Rachael. Would recommend her to anyone who wants a light, comfortable, enjoyable, efficient and amazing shoot for any occasion. We are already dying to get them all printed!”
