Enchanted Rock Engagement Photoshoot

When Maddy and Jared got engaged at Enchanted Rock earlier this year, it was no brainer that we return for their engagement photoshoot.

Maddy and I go WAY back – like high school in Singapore back. In fact, I first photographed her 10 years ago for a shoot I did for fun – those photos may still be circulating Tumblr and the teen-angst internet. But, thanks to social media, we were able to reconnect here in Austin!

She and Jared had met in high school after her family booked back to the states after Singapore. I can understand completely why the two of them work: firstly, they are the biggest dorks I have had the pleasure of photographing. But they also have huge hearts and don’t take themselves too seriously. While Maddy has so much energy, jumping around from workout class, Jared has a much mellow personality. He is thoughtful and caring. I’m obsessed with these two.

I can’t wait to get them married in November at Prospect House! In the meantime, enjoy the photos.
